Safety has always been a top priority for Riteway Bus Service, Inc.Now, Riteway is taking safety a step further by implementing SmartDrive technology on all of our charter buses and limousines. By the end of first quarter 2009 all of these vehicles will be equipped with this new system.

SmartDrive technology will provide Riteway the ability to seamlessly integrate in-vehicle video capturing driving events, such as swerving or sudden breaking, with a web based managed service. Video, audio and other diagnostic data is captured 15 seconds prior to and after a triggered event. When the vehicle returns to the terminal the event is then wirelessly downloaded to the SmartDrive data center where highly trained personnel analyze the information.

Within a day Riteway receives a report from the SmartDrive team of experts. Upon our review of the report, we are able to share the findings of the occurrance with the driver. The result will untimately enhance the safe driving practices and established safety programs of our Riteway drivers.
