RITEWAY BUS SERVICE, INC. RECEIVES MOTORCOACH INDUSTRY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Germantown, WI– January 27, 2009 – Ronald R. Bast, president of Riteway Bus Service, Inc. stepped up to accept the BUSRide Motorcoach Industry Achievement Award during the United Motorcoach Association Vision Awards ceremony in January. This annual award honors the motorcoach owner-operator who demonstrates excellence and innovation throughout their business achievements.

Riteway was selected for the 2009 Achievement Award as a result of devotion to community and concern for their employees. This was exemplified significantly by the action taken to rectify a dangerous condition, sleep apnea and driver fatigue. BUSRide watch with interest in 2008 as the Bast family moved to promote healthier drivers and prevent accidents.

Partnered with Sleep Apnea Solutions Inc. of Waukesha, WI, the two companies instituted a voluntary and confidential health and safety program to address this exacerbating sleep disorder. Pleased to have been chosen for this award, Ron states, "Untreated, sleep apnea is a dangerous and all too often deadly condition. According to statistics, driver fatigue creates a seven times greater risk of commercial drivers being involved in a crash. Safety is always top priority for Riteway, its people and the communities we serve."
